Where it all began... Alice volunteered at the baby home in early 2010 and has been involved with it ever since. The first project to be part of the Kidogo Adventure, it is home to approximately 24 babies and toddlers who have either been abandoned or given up for adoption. The home loves to have enthusiastic volunteers who can entertain the babies and help with the day to day duties.

What would I be doing as a volunteer?

With 24 children under three years old, there is always a lot going on! Volunteers will be expected to help with a wide range of tasks, including assisting at meal times, organising the bedrooms, helping in the kitchen, preparing the babies for hospital appointments but most importantly, entertaining the kids and giving them lots of attention. You may also accompany the older children on outings, along with their carers, to nearby playgrounds and other activities.

How long can I volunteer for?

Volunteers are welcome to come for any length of trip or as part of a combined adventure.
